Here’s a peek at our maternity photoshoot! With a holiday theme and Christmas tree farm, this photoshoot was just as magical as it looks, capturing the joyous anticipation of our baby’s arrival amidst the warmth of the festive season.

As the holiday season painted the world with its festive charm, we embarked on a truly special adventure: our maternity photoshoot! A few weeks ago, we ventured out for what turned out to be an absolutely enchanting experience. We started our session at the iconic Little Man Ice Cream, a beloved local spot in Denver, before heading to a magical Christmas tree farm. The entire day was filled with laughter, love, and an overwhelming sense of gratitude as we celebrated this incredible chapter of our lives.

We are immensely grateful to our incredibly talented photographer and dear friend, Bridget Marie Images, for her artistic eye and her ability to perfectly capture the essence of this precious time. Bridget has a magical way of making you feel comfortable and beautiful, transforming fleeting moments into timeless memories. Her warmth and professionalism shone through, making the entire experience enjoyable and stress-free. We couldn’t have asked for a better person to document our journey into parenthood. We also extend a huge thank you to Little Man Ice Cream for generously allowing us to use their charming space safely for some initial shots. As a sweet bonus, I got to enjoy a delicious salted caramel oreo ice cream out of the deal, which honestly made me feel pretty dang lucky!

This pregnancy journey has been unique, to say the least. Welcoming a baby into the world is always a significant life event, but navigating pregnancy and preparing for birth in the midst of a global pandemic presented an entirely different set of challenges and emotions. There were moments of uncertainty and anxiety, but through it all, we were consistently uplifted by the incredible support system around us. We wanted to take a heartfelt moment to thank all of you – our wonderful readers, friends, and family – for your constant support, thoughtful well wishes, and for consistently checking in to see how we were doing. Your kindness, love, and understanding have made this tough journey a little easier and a lot brighter for both of us. Knowing we had such a compassionate community cheering us on truly made all the difference, transforming a potentially isolating experience into one filled with connection and care.

Pregnancy during a pandemic meant a lot of adjusting, from virtual doctor’s appointments to rethinking baby shower plans. It taught us flexibility, patience, and the importance of cherishing every small joy. Through it all, the excitement of meeting our little one grew exponentially, reminding us of the profound hope and new beginnings that a baby brings. These challenges only strengthened our bond as a couple and deepened our appreciation for the simple moments of togetherness.
