  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp chile powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 fresh pineapple peeled, cored and cut into rings
  • 4 Castello Burger Blue cheese slices
  • 4 hamburger buns cut in half
  • Fresh Arugula

instructions

  • In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, hot sauce, cumin, chile powder, paprika, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Use your hands to thoroughly mix and incorporate all the ingredients into the ground turkey until just combined. Form the seasoned meat mixture into 4 uniform patties.
  • Preheat your grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Add the turkey patties and cook for approximately 5-7 minutes per side, or until the meat is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C). During the last two minutes of cooking, place one slice of Castello Burger Blue cheese on top of each patty and close the grill lid (or cover with a dome) to allow the cheese to melt beautifully. Remove patties from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes. While the patties rest, lightly toast the hamburger buns on the grill until golden brown. Grill the pineapple rings for 1-2 minutes per side until slightly caramelized, if desired.
  • To assemble these delicious burgers, place a cheesy turkey patty onto the bottom half of each toasted bun. Top each patty with a grilled pineapple ring and a generous handful of fresh arugula.
